Green roofs on our Cool Green Shelters protect people from rain, snow and heat. The plants evapotranspire water through their leaves, which cools the surrounding environment. Green roofs collect and store stormwater when it rains.

The combination, sometimes called AgriVoltaics, converts the Sun’s gift of free energy into micro-habitat for pollinators, a cooler environment, and electricity.
